Organ and Weddings

Colin’s first professional engagement was as an organist, at the age of thirteen. He studied with John Pryer, then at Birmingham Cathedral, and at seventeen he was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. He then went on to read Music at Worcester College Oxford, where he was Organ Scholar. Since moving to Devon he has been particularly active as a freelance organist playing for weddings and funerals, and accompanying the famous East Devon Choral Society. Many churches, through no fault of their own are unable to offer the services of a professional organist for weddings, and he fulfills that role. His fees are £200 for meeting with the couple beforehand to discuss the music prior to playing for the ceremony, or £150 for playing for the service only.Me not-hideous 2
